Our Development Pipeline

Emergent Energy is actively developing its first portfolio of microgrid and EV charging infrastructure. We publish this pipeline to be transparent about where each project stands, reporting by development stage, not by aspirational completion dates.

We are a pre-pilot company.

How to read this pipeline: The projects below are real, active, and progressing. They are not yet operational. We believe that transparent progress reporting is more credible than promotional language, and that our stakeholders, investors, partners, and communities, deserve to see where we actually are. Stages reflect: Site Identified, Feasibility, Site Assessment, Engineering, Permitting, Interconnect Queue, Operational. No specific dates are published.

Two Active Development Programs

The pipeline is organized around two distinct programs, each targeting a different audience and infrastructure type. Each sub-page contains program-specific detail and a direct partnership CTA.

4 Sites in Development

Microgrid Pilots

Four 1MW distributed generation and storage pilots in active development across Illinois, California, Kansas, and Colorado. Each pilot targets a commercial or industrial host site and advances the replicable PPA-based business model.

California Site Assessment
Kansas Feasibility
Colorado Feasibility

EV Charging Sites

Phase 1 encompasses 16 EV charging sites across Colorado, California, and Washington. Sites are being identified and evaluated against demand, property type, and electrical infrastructure criteria. No sites are yet commissioned or operational.

Washington Phase 1 target market

How We Track Development Progress

Emergent uses a five-stage development framework for all pilot projects. Stage labels replace specific dates to accurately reflect the variable nature of permitting and interconnection timelines.

Site Identified

A candidate site has been identified and initial outreach or assessment has begun. No agreements or technical work is underway yet.

Feasibility

Technical feasibility studies and host site discussions are underway. Electrical assessment, load analysis, and interconnection review in progress.

Engineering

Site agreement executed. Detailed engineering design underway. Equipment specifications and layout finalized.

Permitting

Engineering complete. Building and electrical permits submitted and under review. Utility coordination ongoing.

Interconnect Queue

All permits received. Project is in utility interconnection queue awaiting grid connection approval. Construction planning underway.
