Emergent Energy's upstream oil and gas platform provides the enterprise with immediate, durable revenue and a domestic fuel supply base for our power generation assets.
Our current producing base is located in the Illinois Basin, a proven, low-decline production area with established infrastructure and regulatory familiarity. We operate 100+ producing wells with a 90% proved developed producing (PDP) asset profile, meaning the majority of our reserves are already delineated and producing.
Natural gas from our upstream operations serves a dual purpose: generating revenue as a standalone commodity, and supplying fuel for our microgrid generation fleet, reducing external fuel dependency and improving dispatch economics across the integrated platform.
Our upstream strategy is focused on disciplined acquisition and development of proved reserves, with expansion planned into Kansas, California, Colorado, and Texas.
